He has been one of the three composers selected to represent Spain at the WORLD MUSIC DAYS 2008 ( ISCM / International Society of Contemporary Music ).

His orchestral works have been conducted by important figures such as Jacques Mercier, Hannu Lintu, Olli Mustonen, Antoni Ros-Marbá, Carlos Miguel Prieto, Rubén Gimeno, Virginia Martínez, etc, and performed by symphonic orchestras like Orchestre National de Lorraine (France), Orquesta Sinfónica de Barcelona y Nacional de Cataluña, Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, Orquesta Ciudad de Granada, Orquesta de Extremadura, Orquesta Real Filharmonía de Galicia (Spain), and also by ensembles like Taller Sonoro (Sevilla) and Art Ensemble (Barcelona), and soloist like Ananda Sukarlan, Miquel Bernat, Carmen Gurriarán, etc.

He has received commissions from AEOS (Spanish Symphonic Orchestras Association), Fundación Autor (Spanish Society of Authors), Caixa Catalunya, Residencia de Estudiantes de Madrid, Fundación Laxeiro, etc.

He has been selected as guest composer in the workshop “Ateliers de composition acanthes” Metz (Concours de la Ville de Paris). The lecturers were Wolfgang Rihm, Pascal Dusapin, Tosio Hosokawa, Georges Aperghis, Gérard Pesson, Michael Jarrell and Yan Maresz

He has studied musical composition with David del Puerto, José Manuel López López, Jesús Rueda, José Luis de Delás (Köln Conservatory), Isabelle Duha (Conservatoire d´Issy les Molineaux-PARIS XIII), Richard Steinitz (Huddersfield University) and with Cristobal Halffter and Tomás Marco (Villafranca del Bierzo, Spain). 

Superior Professor by Santiago de Compostela Conservatory of Music. He has been professor at the Conservatory of Vigo and Conservatory of Ourense (Spain).

He has finished his Master’s Degree at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
